I help leadership teams answer the questions their dashboards cannot.
For around twelve years I have worked inside agile organisations as a coach, an analyst, and lately as an independent consultant. The thread through all of it has been the same question: why does this organisation behave the way it does, and what would actually move it.
I started out with a maths background and an interest in how complex systems behave under pressure. That led me into agile coaching at scale, mostly in large IT and engineering organisations, where I spent the better part of a decade watching the same patterns recur: dashboards proliferating without changing decisions, frameworks adopted whole and then quietly abandoned, leaders left to make capacity calls on instinct because the data they needed lived in seven different tools.
Around 2020 I started building the analytical capability I had wished my clients had. Delivery health data models. Network analyses. Portfolio frameworks borrowed from finance. Sensemaking practices that turned numbers into agreement rather than argument. The kit kept getting better; the engagements kept getting clearer.
Now I work independently. The kit is the engagements on this site, plus the products I build alongside them.
How I work with clients
Every engagement starts with a question your leadership team cannot answer with confidence today. The diagnostic comes first; the prescription comes after. I bring my own data model, my own analysis tooling, and a rhythm of sensemaking workshops that is part of every engagement. I do not bring a deck of slides waiting for your logo.
The output is rarely a report. It is usually a working artefact, a model your team can keep using, and a quarterly cadence for revisiting the picture as things change.
"I wouldn't want to give the client a detailed timeline for implementation. Instead, I will adopt an agile roadmapping approach, dividing actions into tranches of priority, clarifying dependencies, and being open about what I do and don't yet know."

What I am not
I am not a tool reseller, although I am fluent in most of them. I am not an out-of-the-box framework salesperson. I am not the right hire if you want someone to ratify a decision you have already made; my engagements only work when there is room for the diagnosis to surprise you.
Where I work
I work with IT and engineering organisations of roughly 200 to 5,000 people. Most of my clients are in financial services, telecommunications, government, and healthcare. The work travels well across sectors because the underlying systems behave similarly. I am based in Australia and engage internationally.

A few pieces I have written or co-authored that capture how I think:
- The delivery health data model: 23 leading indicators, 4 intermediate measures, 4 outcomes.
- A SkillMap diagnostic, including the indicator design and the Knowledge Loss Risk Score.
- A short paper on leveraging organisational social networks to improve agility, innovativeness, and resilience.
